Becky and Chris wedding
Becky and Chris’s wedding took place at stunning Woodman inn, Thunderbridge, West Yorkshire. I arrived ealry and Becky (the bride) was relaxing in her little cottage. She was incredibly chilled out and her and her maid of honour (Natalie) was just enjoying the morning.
It’s always nice when the whole day is in one venue as everything always seems so more relaxed. I met up with Chris (the groom) and the boys in the bar who were slightly nervous but still looking forward to the day’s activities. It was time to get into Becky’s dress (not me) so with the help of Natalie, brides mum, grooms mum and a You Tube video 15 minutes later Becky was ready and looked stunning and ready to rock. Jordan from The Woodman brought the bride some chips (which were lovely, not that I ate them all, honest)
James Hey the pianist made a brief appearance and tinkled the ivories for the ceremony which was a nice touch. The ceremony was short and sweet and exactly what the bride and groom wanted. After the ceremony everyone headed outside where they chucked loads of confetti at the newly weds (and also into The Woodman, whoops sorry Jordan). After a few group photos I took the bride and groom off for ten minutes to do a few photos and also give them an opportunity to have a little quiet time away from the crowds.
This wedding was a very chilled out day, exactly what the bride and groom wanted. I really enjoyed chatting to all of the guests who made me feel like part of the family which is always special. The speeches were relatively quick and everyone felt much more relaxed.
The evening’s entertainment was provided by Nathaniel Wood a fabulous guitar/singer and the Woodman’s DJ. Lots of people danced, some were very drunk and it was a really special day
Congratulations to Becky and Chris
