Kate and Paul wedding
I’m so fortunate to work with so many lovely genuine couples and Kate and Paul are certainly high up on the list. In fact Paul and Kate are behind the amazing 6B Digital who have built my website which I absolutely LOVE!
Back to the wedding day. I headed over to Kate’s parents house and once again I was treated like family. The whole house had an EXCITETED atmosphere so it was easy to capture the happy, smiling faces.
The wedding ceremony was conducted at St Matthew’s Church in Lightcliffe. Paul the groom was pretty calm in a nervous kind of way :-) I had the usual rules and regulations at the church so had to photograph from the back but it was a lovely ceremony.
The reception was taking place at Holdsworth House, Halifax. The rain was pouring but it wasn’t going to dampen anyone’s spirits. Entertainment was provided by Leeds magician Oliver Parker who managed to blow everyone’s mind. I managed to get people outside for a few pics before we headed inside. Wow! The room looked stunning, the table décor was amazing. The Flower Shop at Lindley had pulled out all the stops.
There was a special atmosphere in the room; it was obvious to see that Paul and Kate are genuine people who care for their friends and family. The speeches were great everyone smiled, laughed and got drunk.
The evening entertainment was provided by a country band (sorry, I’ve forgotten their name). However they were very good. Everyone got on the dance floor and threw some shapes. Kate tossed her bouquet which was hilarious. People got drunk, people danced and it was a perfect wedding.
Congratulations Kate and Paul and thanks for all your support.
