Lauren + Jason. Huntsman Inn, Holmfirth

Lauren and Jason are ACE! They like to have fun and party which I love to photograph.  I'm always a giddy little kipper on a wedding day so couldn't wait to head off to Coco North to see Lauren and the girls. I had a fabulous wedding and I was treated like a family member from the moment I arrived until I left.  Team bride was in good spirits and there was a very exciting atmosphere in the air.

Lauren and Jason's wedding was amazing, just pure fun from start to finish. It was lots of laughs and there were quite a few tears chucked in. The ceremony took place at the fabulous St John's Church in Newsome. It was a lovely ceremony and the groom did a great job of letting his emotions out which I always think is very special (it makes great photos).  I photograph lots of weddings so I'm always very excited when I see something new. Lauren and Jason instead of using confetti, they handed out sticks with coloured ribbons. It was a great way to get loads of colour without the mess. Some of the guests may have hit the groom with the sticks but that's always going to happen. I personally thought they were fantastic. completely unique and very church friendly.

There were two fabulous vintage buses that transported the guests to the Huntsman Inn, Holmfirth where the rest of the day was taking place. I was very excited to photograph my first wedding at The Huntsman as it's such a brilliant venue and the staff are absolutely fantastic!  Lauren and Jason met at Club Tropicana in Ibiza so they had used this as their theme. Wow!!!! The details were stunning, Golden pineapples, pink flamingos were absolutely everywhere. There was even a saxophonist busting out some Island tunes. I've always said that the best weddings are when a couple puts their personality into a wedding and this was certainly the case.

The whole day was AMAZING there were tears during speeches and in the evening some people got very, very drunk, the dance floor was full and people fell over but that's how a wedding should be.  I was so lucky to have been chosen to photograph the wedding. Thank you and congratulations, Lauren and Jason. If you know anyone getting married who wants someone to capture the fun then please pass on my details
