Tanya and Adams wedding
I was very excited for my first trip to Ripley Castle; North Yorkshire and it certainly didn’t disappoint it’s a stunning venue. Tanya and Adam’s wedding was fantastic! I arrived in torrential rain, I didn’t even want to get out of the car. The rain eventually stopped before the ceremony and it stayed dry for most of the day.
Everyone looked fabulous and were all up for a good laugh. One of my highlights of the day were the reggae singers in the afternoon. Most weddings have some chilled-out tunes, but Tanya and Adam went all out, and it was party time! The bride and groom even did an impromptu first dance. Everyone was dancing, some folk even joined in singing along. Nobody wanted the party to end. Eventually the band stopped singing as I think everyone’s food was going cold.
After the meal and speeches, I headed off down to the lake to have a 5 minutes portrait session with the bride and groom. I was very excited to see that a mechanical bull had turned up for the evening which could have got messy. Unfortunately, the heavens opened, and the rain poured down. There were a few guests that were still happy to jump on the bull, so it wasn’t a complete wash out.
The rest of the night was spent dancing and throwing shapes. There was a brief pause when everyone wanted to go outside and play with sparklers and they it was back on the dance floor.
The wedding was brilliant, everyone had loads of fun and a big party.
Congratulations Tanya and Adam
