Northern Monk Leeds wedding photography

I was lucky to exhibit at the wedding fayre for the fabulous Northern Monk Refectory in Leeds, West Yorkshire, yesterday. As quite a few couples were getting married there, which is a fantastic industrial wedding venue, I thought I would take this opportunity to blog about this wedding which I shot in 2016

The day started at the stunning boutique hotel 42 The Calls in Leeds, where I met up with team bride. Joanne was in good spirits and looking forward to the day’s events. My brief from the bride was to take fun, natural pictures, which wasn’t a problem as that’s what I do.

The ceremony was held at the beautiful Leeds Civic Hall (I didn’t even know they did weddings). I met with Marc, who was keeping himself busy and looking after folk; he may have been a little nervous but still looking forward to the day.

After the ceremony, we headed out to Millennium Square, where we chucked confetti, took group photos and generally had fun!

The reception was held at the fantastic Northern Monk Brewery, an excellent venue; it’s one of my favourites. The bride and groom had done a great job decorating the room; it looked AWESOME! Marc likes his real ale so having his wedding at a brewery was perfect. The afternoon was lovely as all the guests sat outside, drinking ale and enjoying the occasion and sun. Looking back at the pictures, I can’t see anyone who isn’t laughing or smiling.
