Connect Up, event photography in Leeds.

Last Thursday, I photographed Connect Up in Leeds, which was an event organised by Northern Affinity. The Connect Up event took place at the fabulous Knowledge Exchange in Leeds City Centre.

Many people arrived and started networking; the team had thought of everything, including having the Lonely Hearts hosts on hand to help those who were a little shy and didn't know anyone.

Gemma kicked the day off with a very Gemma talk with quotes from Britney Spears and Mariah Carey.

The day was a mix of speakers and networking, which worked well. There were numerous speakers and a wide variety, so something for everyone.

Northern Affinity is a great little community, and they ensured the event accurately represented how the NA works. I always enjoy In The Mix events at Northern Affinity, so it was great to see we had a giant version of that. People were divided into small groups, where they could discuss a few questions. It was great to see people getting stuck in and helping everyone tackle their issues.

There was a lovely buzz around the whole event; people were making friends and enjoying everything that was happening.

I was running around like a crazy man, trying to capture everything that was happening. It's always quite challenging when there are three seminars running at the same time, but I'm pretty accustomed to it.
