Hand-dipped batter, a range full of scraps and plenty of laughing behind the counter. Blakeley's has been frying for Brighouse since 1987, and it was a joy to photograph.
King Street Pets, Brighouse: where it all started
The very first door I walked through for my Brighouse BID project. A wall of natural dog treats sold by the piece, pet tags engraved in store, and a chocolate Labrador who'd clearly been told he was in charge.
