Hannah and Tom's Spicer Manor wedding, South Yorkshire,

A couple of months ago, I had the pleasure of visiting my favourite wedding venue, the stunning Spicer Manor in South Yorkshire, to photograph Hannah and Tom's wedding.

I headed over nice and early to meet up with Hannah and the team bride. Hannah and Tom are my perfect couple; they just wanted to have a fabulous day, letting the day unfold and allowing me to capture real, natural photographs.

Hannah was very chilled, and there was a lovely atmosphere in the morning. Tom was also relaxed and was excited for the day.

The team at Spicer Manor is brilliant, and I had the fabulous Robyn and Stacey, who looked after everyone on the day.

I have photographed numerous weddings at Spicer Manor, so I have a good understanding of what's happening when and where.

Everyone at the wedding was lovely, I knew it was going to be a fab day. Hannah looked stunning. Tom didn't do a bad job scrubbing up. One of the highlights was that the wonderfully talented Michael Mullholland was performing all day and was even the DJ in the evening. The ceremony was short and sweet, so everyone went outside and chucked confetti at the couple. Tom and Hannah had arranged for a dog walker to bring their dog along; he was a little overwhelmed, but we still managed to sneak out for a few pictures with him. I love things like this, as it makes weddings unique.

Hannah and Tom aren't the kind of people who like being the centre of attention and don't want to spend ages taking couples pictures. Fortunately, I can work quickly and am accustomed to people who are uncomfortable having their picture taken.

The speeches were perfect, just the right mix of emotion and comedy.

In the evening, Michael Mullholland took over. He performed a couple of live, upbeat sets, which went down a storm, and then took over the decks into the night. There was a moment when one of the guests borrowed his guitar and performed a drunk Oasis rendition, and to be fair, he was pretty good.

The day was brilliant, and I thoroughly enjoyed shooting the wedding, capturing all the fun and emotion of the day.

If you are getting married at Spicer Manor and would like a photographer, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
