Event photography for IOU and Calderdale Creates

Last week, I headed over to the fabulous town of Hebden Bridge to photograph the IOU Creation Centre and Calderdale Creates event, called 'Art, Nature and the Public Realm Symposium'. The conference meeting area was the stunning Hebden Bridge Hostel. The hostel is also located next to the Birchcliffe Centre, a fantastic space full of character.

I had been hired by Calderdale Creates to capture the event and tell its story. As always, everything is about the people; there are numerous pictures of laughter, smiles, connection, networking, and people listening intently. I made sure to capture all the speakers, the audience, and tell the real story of the event.

It was a lovely day, lots of fascinating people to meet and chat to. The panels were very informative, and attendees were receiving a wealth of helpful information.

It was lovely to work with a new bunch of people, and I'm certainly looking forward to doing more for this group.
