Brand shoot for Deborah Ogden, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire
A couple of weeks ago, I headed to Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, for a quick brand shoot with the fabulous Deborah Ogden. I met up with Deborah at her office and had a quick catch-up over a brew, as it had been a while since I last saw her.
We took a brief recce around the mill where Deborah is based and found a fabulous area to do a shoot.
This was only a mini-brand shoot, and Deborah didn't want a large number of pictures. Deborah has a podcast, so she wanted pictures to illustrate it, which was my starting point. Deborah, like me, isn't the biggest fan of having photos taken, so the first 5 minutes are always about making her feel relaxed and at ease.
I knew that the best pictures would be against this amazing door that we found, so I didn't want to rush into that one straight away. Once Deborah was relaxed and I was warmed up, I asked Deborah to stand next to the door, using it as a backdrop.
Deborah also wanted some pictures in her office, which is lovely, but it's a very long, narrow room, which causes a few challenges, but it's always fun.
The shoot took just over 30 minutes, but most of that was chatting.
